PS how often do you have to clean sheets? how often you have to change them to other one? is it okay to mix old sheets and new sheets? why or why not? what if you can't afford new one? how often to turn matress? why?and why turn matress?
this is no joke. thank you.The Oldest bed sheets? safe?
Wash your sheets 1-2x/week. Turn your mattress once every 1-3 months to prevent uneven wear. If your friend is concerned about sanitized sheets have her add bleach to her cycle. The Oldest bed sheets? safe?
I wash all my sheets in hot water once a week. If they are white sheets I add a little bleach to the laundry. I've never dry cleaned sheets.
Used sheets are probably okay to use unless they are obviously stained, but I would definitely wash them in hot water before using them.
There's no reason not to mix old sheets and new sheets other than personal preference. Some people want everything to match, but if you can't afford to match your sheets, then it's safe to use old and new together.
Turn your mattress about once a month. Turning it regularly helps with the wear and tear on the mattress, meaning it won't sag in one spot or wear thin in the one spot where you sleep.
In the summer you should wash your sheets at least twice a week. In winter once will do if not a heavy sweater. You can use any sheets you want. Old new have no bearing unless you like fresh new sheets. Turn your mattress once a month so that it wears evenly or else you will get a big canyon in the middle and fall in.
