My son is on disablement benefit and he wets the bed can i get help with the cost of sheets bedding etc?

I thought that's why you got disablement benefit,You should also be able to get a care allowance on top of the disability living allowance in the UK,Hope this helps if you are in the UK call your local DWP dept.My son is on disablement benefit and he wets the bed can i get help with the cost of sheets bedding etc?
I shouldnt think so, its not like he needs special equipment or anything. You can easily wash the bedding. My son is on disablement benefit and he wets the bed can i get help with the cost of sheets bedding etc?
I am unsure about this, but there should be a case manager that is assigned to your son's case if he is on this beneift. She/he should be able to help more about this question you are asking.

Also, try your local Freecycle.org in your city. Post that you are looking for sheets. I have seen this asked many times and people if they have them will respond. Helps when you can't afford them. GL
It will be included in the disability allowance and any carers allowance you may get for him but id have a word with your doctor to ask for pads these will be available on prescription
CANT you just buy a box of depends? THEY are adult diapers.
ask the benefits people, it's likely they will help you but you will have to ask...
What? Thats stupid just because he gets disablement benefit... doesn't mean you can get money for him peeing the bed!!

Every kid does it once in they're life!

Haven't you ever heard of a mattress protecters?... They cost like five quid or so!!

Also a washing machine?.... Hand wash them?....
I dont know about bedding but you should be able to get some inco pads for him.
you can get help with under pads most likely.
Ask social services.
This is what the Disabled benefit is for.
ask your gp to refer you to the nappy service, they provide nappies and pads for all ages up to adult, otherwise huggies nightime fit up to about an age 15, if i were you i would also apply to the social, if you get dla care high rate you can apply for a grant every couple of years for a washing machine and dryer, if all else fails try the family fund trust, they are a charity that helps families with disabled children, they award grants for essential items and also help with things like holidays and driving lessons, good luck.
If its due to incontinence he wets the bed then you should be able to get pads or bed pads form your GP. You wouldnt get an allowance for the sheets as they can be washed.

If its due to alcohol he wets the bed then you would be entitled to nothing.
