Dog chewing bed sheets?

my dog is constantly chewing the side of my bed and i dont know why. if we put a towel on the side of the bed she'll stop because she doesnt like the feeling of the towel. but then eventually she'll knock off the towel and continue chewing. she's not not putting any holes into the bed but it's getting to be annoying because she wont stop for anything, until she gets too tired to. does anyone know why she's doing this? and how to get her to stop?

hi from grandma sue. Hum if your dog is begining to go deaf maybe he can still hear a small bell. My shitzu is 12 years old and we use the bell for gentle disapline i don't ever hit my best friend. The bell works at the table when he is begging. Maybe your nearest pet store can help or go on line with dog problems.GOOD LUCK I hope your bed holds up.
