Are satin bed sheets warm?

Im thinking on getting new bed sheets in satin.


I was wondering if they are warm because winters here are pretty cold!

I had satin sheets years ago and thought I would love them because they're so soft ... I HATED them!





They are cool to the touch, but (they're made of polyester) you get uncomfortable while sleeping because they don't ';breathe'; as cotton does. So you end up cold but sweaty. I did, anyway.





And the first answer is right, they slide right off the bed!Are satin bed sheets warm?
No, they are the opposite of flannel. They are cool and very slippery. I had a problem with the sheets sliding off the bed.
