i have deep purple sheets/pillowcases and my duvet cover/other pillowcases are white and orange, simple damask-ish cover. it's really cute and funky (to me, anyway, haha).





i also have grey solid duvet/pillow cases that go great with it.





i think doing another shade of purple (i.e. lavender) would make it look too much of a little girl's room, black would be okayyyyy but blend in too much since the sheets are already dark. white, i think, would look fine too, but too simple.





if you want solid i would choose grey. :]

Lavender is the best I think. If you want a print find a print with lavender and different shades of purple in it, or a lavender print with white in it.
It depends on what you like. A lighter shade of purple would be tasteful and acceptable to anyone looking into your room. Or a lime green would take you to the funky side.
I would do a gray or white for a solid


Or for a pattern, paisley with purples, blacks, grays etc. would look nice.
We have 2 deep purple walls and 2 cream walls. with a cream bedcover and a deep purple throw.
I would say either White, Black or Gold.





For a pattern, maybe try a flower or a swirl one?
