What are the softest bed sheets!?

What are the softest sheets out there? What are the softest bed sheets!?
The softest bed sheets are ones that have a high thread count. A thread count is determined by how many threads in the fabric cris cross one another within one square inch. The higher the thread count, the softer the sheets. Also, Egyptian or brushed cotton sheets are made of very soft fibers. Try to find at least 500 thread count sheets to begin with. Check the prices and go up in thread count from there. Washing these high thread count sheets only makes them softer in time. They are durable, too. Body oils cause pillow cases to show their age faster than the sheets do, so I would purchase an extra set of pillow cases and rotate them regularly. Once you sleep in a bed with high thread count sheets, you will be spoiled for life.

A good quality, flat sheet can cost up to and over $75.00. However, it is well worth it and they last forever. Do not use chlorine bleach, ever. What are the softest bed sheets!?
Cotton jersey are the softest, meaning that they will stretch and conform to your body very well.

Cotton sateen is the smoothest of the cottons, meaning that they won't feel scratchy against your skin.

Silk charmeuse is probably the smoothest overall but they are extremely expensive and dry clean only.
