How do clean wax from a candle that has fallen and stained the bed sheet?

First put the sheet in the freezer and once it is frozen take it out and break off as much wax as you can get off. Repeat if you can get more off. Then take paper towels and place them on your ironing board, put the sheet on top of them and place another layer of paper towels on top of the sheet. Heat your iron up to a very high heat, and slowly work it over the wax stain. This will draw the wax into the paper towels. Continue to do this until you have almost all of the wax out. Then pretreat it and wash it in extremely hot water with a good laundry detergent. Then dry in the dryer. How do clean wax from a candle that has fallen and stained the bed sheet?
What you need:

1. Scuncii steamer similar pressure steamers can also be good.

2. white absorbent paper towel (moistened with water)

3 pressing table or any table will do as long as it is lined with some kind of teflon coating (easy clean up)

4. wear an old shirt (it could splatter a bit)

5. Dawn dishwashing soap (any type) Lemon is better.

Directions:

1. test the bed sheet for colorfast against dishwashing detergent (use the edges)

2. If it's not then proceed to soak the stained area with warm water diluted with 2 or more drops of dishwasing soap.

3 warm up your steamer.

4. try to position the sheet near the edge of the table so that it can be easily steamed.

5. put the moistened paper towel behind the sheet to absorb the wax

6. Shoot the stained area with the steamer and observe.

7. If the stain transfers to the moistened paper towel then it is a success.

8. if not... you have to soak the sheet in a degreaser or Gojo, even borax if the sheet tolerates these type of chemicals without being damaged.

9.Don't forget to protect your eyes while soaking chemicals. How do clean wax from a candle that has fallen and stained the bed sheet?
Remove as much of the surface wax as possible. Place between two sheets of absorbent kitchen paper and press with warm iron, moving paper around so clean sections will absorb the wax. Any residual colour can be removed by dabbing with colourless methylated spirits before washing.

Alternatively, heat the bowl of a metal spoon, place a piece of damp paper over the wax and rub with the hot spoon. This will remove all the wax.
